Juan Maclean, Matias Aguayo and Daniel Maloso, The Hundred In The Hands

  • Juan MacLean is a mainstay on dance-punk label DFA Records (also home to LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip) and founder of the New York band The Juan MacLean. Here he plays a special DJ set with support from a host of the best names in new electronic music. Playing live are Kompakt's Matias Aguayo and Daniel Maloso (Coméme), the live band project of Aguayo that brings together techno, house and the sounds of a Latin American street party. Joining them are New York's finest synth-disco-French poppers The Hundred in the Hands (Warp) playing their only UK date as part of their European tour. Hotly-tipped DJ Stopmakingme opens the show. The first in a season of special late-night club events at Southbank Centre, produced in association with trouble tune.
