krankbrother returns on May 13th to showcase the talents of two of the finest Frenchmen in the business - Freak n'Chic's main man Dyed Soundorom and Fabric resident Ivan Smagghe. The krankbrothers will be supporting.
The party is happening in a beautiful space on Reliance Square, called Shoreditch Studios. This lovely space is multi purpose, but is primarily used as a photography studio, and as such is incredibly clean, spacious and modern. The second room is also full of stunning vintage furniture and fittings. Dyed Soundorom:
French DJ and producer Dyed Soundorom is probably the hottest name on Parisian tech-house label Freak n'Chic. From the cutting edge dancefloors of Batofar and the Rex Club in Paris, Dyed's DJ career has gone truly global. In recent months Dyed has racked up an eye-watering number of air-miles and brought his deft touch to the hottest parties on the planet, including Berlin’s Panoramabar, Warehouse 702 in Tokyo, Fabric London, Goa in Roma, NYC Blk market and DC10's CircoLoco in Ibiza, where he currently holds a residency. His production talents have been recognised by releases on labels including Spectral Sound, Freak n’Chic, Crosstown Rebels, Adult Only, Supplement Facts, Safari electronique and Tsuba Records. What he brings to every club is a winning mix of style and enthusiasm. He oozes cool but Dyed never makes the mistake of taking himself seriously. His only priority is to keep the party rocking.
Ivan Smagghe:
Ivan Smagghe is probably the number one man in Anglo-French dance music, having imposed a new vision of leftfield electronica. France's most wanted radio host and selector, he stands at the crossroads between glamorous parisian hype and musical integrity. If there’s one thing that Ivan Smagghe has personified throughout his residencies at Bugged Out, Fabric, Mondo or Robert Johnson – it’s vision. His irreverent, genre-defying DJ sets have taken the European music scene by storm, largely as a result of his uncanny ability to play famously obscure records, but still keep the dancefloor alive.
