5 years in and Loosekaboose is still going strong. For which we thank you. While the Sydney scene has changed unrecognisably, there’s one thing you can rely on, nothing’s changed here: Loosekaboose is still dedicated to bringing the noise, be it deep, delicious, melodious Minimal, glitchy, twisted Tech or – let’s face it – pretty much any track that must be heard and experienced.
We can’t wait to celebrate our 5th birthday in style with you on March 5th. We’re welcoming back long-time Loosekaboose favourite, Deepchild, playing live, bringing his “rambunctious take on machine music. My machines, my sound, is rust-stained, noisy, unquantised.” We’re also proud to bring back a slightly more recent Loosekaboose favourite from Melbourne, hAUL Music’s Christian Vance performing his "deep chord sequences and synced-up jazz beats" live alongside Future Classics Peret Mako and residents Jimi Polar, Claire Morgan, DJ Trinity and Jay Smalls.
Rounding off the production is visuals by Snez and Vlad and street artist Frank Fable creating a live piece inspired by the events of night and by you. We’re going all-out to make this a party to remember, to celebrate the many ridiculously good times we’ve all had together over the years.
