Coming off their widely successful showcase with John Roberts, 2011 is turning out to be another banner year for Migrashun. As Chicago continues to be carpeted in waves of snow the Migrashun crew has been busy in the hive working on yet another top-notch event. Up next on the calendar marks the North America debut of Techno star, Pfirter. Pfirter is one of the main icons of the electronic scene in South America. After more than a decade of a solid career, Juan Pablo has developed a unique and personal style, mainly because of his very particular dj sets, based on different subgenres of Techno.
Pfirter is nowadays considered one of the Argentinean producers with the biggest international projection, with releases on labels as CLR, Stockholm Ltd, Figure, Synewave, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Apnea and his own music platform, MindTrip Music, among others.
We expect nothing but greatness on what sure is to be an eye and ear opening night. Joining Pfirter on this special night will be No Affiliations, Mike Brankis and Migrashuns own Mathias Matthew. Original artwork will be on display form abstract artist Jason Noah. The event will be taking place in the private basement room of Vision Nightclub called “The Lair”. When you go to the vision door you will let them know that you are their for the Migrashun event and you will be directed to a separate, private entrance to the event. Top notch sound, lighting and visuals, which have become a staple of Migrashun events, will be present.
