In 1967, London's UFO club wrote itself into the history books when bands such as Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd pumped out interstellar sounds to a backdrop of swirling lightshows - the modern club night was born. In 2007 we bring you a night featuring the original UFO pioneers creating a lightshow freak-out and psyched-out sounds in alliance with Manchester's TRAMP!
With original lightshows created by the UFO's very own Jack Henry Moore, and with input from it's original promoter and counter-culture folk hero Hoppy Hopkins, the event features a DJ set from Kraftwerk's beat-master Wolfgang Flür and a live set from the strange, beautiful, glitter-ball discovery of the century, Black Devil Disco Club, whose seminal, dark, electronic 1978 disco masterpiece ' 28 After' is the stuff of legends.
