March 18th sees the return of Glasgow's most forward-thinking club night.
Point 4 is a project which draws together four of Glasgow's finest club nights to a single point, filling three rooms at the Soundhaus and the best afterparty venue in town with pulsating sub-bass for 8 hours of house, techno and disco. Glasgow's top DJs, friendliest crowd and great atmosphere make this a stand-out night.
SOUNDHAUS - ROOM 1
* HARVEY MCKAY // MR COPY [Soma] *
This month we have a very special line-up in Room 1. Soma's very own HARVEY MCKAY and MR COPY will each be treating us to a DJ set falling firmly into the techno category. Both of these Glasgow DJs have shot to international fame in recent years with top quality releases on Slam's label which has been a major player in the techno scene for 20 years now.
SOUNDHAUS - ROOM 2
* SUNDAY CIRCUS *
The Wee Room in the Soundhaus will this month be vibrated by SUNDAY CIRCUS. Resident DJs Ronnie, Tricky and Affi Koman have established themselves amongst the cream of the crop of Glasgow DJs in recent years from their legendary Sunday Circus parties. These guys are all about the house music and have treated events such as Pressure, Rockness, Sonar to their sets outside of their own nights.
SOUNDHAUS - ROOM 3
* HOTBOX featuring RUSSELL VENTILLA [Be Deep] & BOBBY WILSON [Eq'D] *
The Mirror Room gets the HOTBOX treatment this month at the Soundhaus. Hotbox is headed up by Dan Hedley who has been hosting parties all over Glasgow for several years now and has built up a huge following for his effortless ability to flit between house and techno, grabbing the crowd by the nuts and twisting hard. Hotbox will be playing host to RUSSELL VENTILLA, resident at deep house night Be Deep. Russell has recently been signed to Scenic Tones and has a string of high quality remixes out later in the year - more info on this to come! Also on the decks is Eq'D resident Bobby Wilson - expect everything from deep house to techno from this room!
AFTERPARTY - ROOM 4
* ANIMAL FARM featuring SIMON STOKES & WAX WORKS
Animal Farm barely need an introduction. Consisting of Quail, Lamb and Turtle this trio of exceptional DJs and promoters have been running some of the very best nights in town for many years now. Currently residing at the Sub Club and booking guests ranging from Ben Klock to Kenny Larkin and back to Sandwell District you can expect a techno feast from these guys. Joined by Point 4 resident and promoter SIMON STOKES whose productions have been in the bags of the likes of Carl Cox, Luciano and Marco Carola and have established him as one of Europe's rising stars of 2011, you can be sure that this is going to be an afterparty not to be missed.
