It was practiced in gatherings of ancient mystics where poetry was accompanied by instrumentation, and reinforced by the repetition of powerful rhythms. Hans Bouffmyhre is a young man from Paisley with a worrying obsession for techno music. Hans started off his career in 2006 when he began to promote his own party in Glasgow called 'Sleaze' where he booked and played alongside some of the worlds best techno acts including the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Funk D' Void, Chloe, Radio Slave, Johannes Heil, Extrawelt, Phil Keiran, Len Faki and Par Grindvik.
At the start of 2007, Hans started learning about music production and making his own tracks. He now boasts releases on many recognized labels such as Perc Trax, Viva Music, Soma Records, Synewave, Harthouse, 8 Sided Dice, Autist, as well as his own labels, Sleaze Records and Smut Music. At the tender age of 23 the future looks bright for Hans Bouffmyhre!

Tony Rohr (Clink | Drumcode | Sleaze Records)
At this point it is difficult for us to sum up the multi-faceted career and personality of Tony Rohr. He is Brooklyn's bang mixed with Mid-Western politeness, and is easily one of the most original and well-liked artists in the industry. His sought-after Live PA, matched with a discography and release schedule that aspiring artists would kill for, keeps him consistently in high demand. He has turned up the heat in recent years, burning miles across the globe and sharing his enthusiasm for music and life via Macbook, Machinedrum and two Korg's.
In 2005 Tony met Tim Xavier and Camea in Brooklyn, and they began releasing together on Clink Recordings. He has contributed to five of their releases as a solo artist, and collaboratively with Tim as the Afternoon Coffee Boys. He ignited the label's popularity with his biggest record of 2007, Kreuzberg Krunk. Tony also works with Alexi Delano, Dietrich Schoenemann and Dave Shokh (Dirka Dirka) on numerous projects and his work has been featured on top labels such as Cocoon, Weave, Plus 8, Drumcode, Podium and Frankie Records.

Syed Raza (Harthouse Mannheim | Excentric Muzik | Sleaze Records)
One half of the duo Subfractal, Syed is a relatively recent transplant to New York. Initially starting his musical career in Toronto, where his partner Fahad Ahmed and him met, Subfractal quickly established themselves as staples of the local techno scene.
Having released on reputable labels such as Harthouse Mannheim, Excentric Muzik, Sleaze Records, Bosphorous Underground, Frequenza, amongst others, 2009 saw their remix of Larry Power's 'Milk' at the #1 spot on the highly competitive Beatport Minimal charts for over 6 weeks, furthering their reputations as forward thinking producers.
With features at the Winter Music Conference in Miami and at the Detroit Electronic Music Conference this past year, as well as having played numerous international shows, we can’t wait to see what the new year has in store for them.

A drummer turned techno producer Derek Marin has been playing with beats since he was 9. He has performed & collaborated with some of the biggest artists in electronic music world like Andrew Fletcher of Depeche Mode, Mr. C, Terry Francis, Carl Craig, Adam X & the Yeah Yeah Yeahs just for starters. Not to mention his list of works is reaching an uncountable number. Derek is best known for his productions on the Tech House labels Plastic City, Thoughtless Music and Swag's Surreal label as well as his many tribute remixes of Depeche Mode & Daft Punk. Marin also produces under the monikers Sideview, Platonik, Modest D & many others.
