JAW was born in 2005 in Paris. After many events - the InnerCity series - introducing artists such as Larry Heard, Moodymann, Marcellus Pittman, the Beatdown Brothers, Omar S or Jamie 3:26, we hit Berlin this year with two of our absolute favorite DJs.
Theo Parrish definitely gets his own sound, sculpting his mixes with the EQ like crazy on all kind of hot dance tracks. For those of you who have had the chance to be blessed by one of his sets, you know it’s just not to be missed.
Sadar Bahar - the greatest musical discovery we have made in the last years. Highly recommended by Theo himself, he has made himself a solid reputation within crate diggers around the world, well known for his insane mixes of funk jazz, rare soul with disco edits and early house. Expect only 7’’ and 12’’ with our man!
Along with Pete Adarkwah from BBE Records - a serious Label out there behind many great projects with cats such as Dilla (RIP), Madlib, Kenny Dope, Roy Ayers or Mr. Peabody and currently working with Sadar - It is a privilege to have them all for this very special night.
