He started back in 1998 while still in high school just compiling favorite tracks off CD’s onto cassettes to bump in his car and at home. His dad took notice and one day decided to break out the old DJ setup from when he was in high school – including a pair of Technics 1200s (seriously can you get more spoiled?). From that point on things were never the same.
Kadabra became the host and producer of Deck Support on KTSW-FM in San Marcos, TX from 2002-2005. The show featured a local DJ mixing live for 2 hours every Sunday night and an array of different genres were showcased. He also created a monthly series of live shows called “Deck Support: Underground” on campus to go along with the radio show.
Today he’s married to his high school sweetheart and is a dad to a beautiful baby girl. Having only recently caught up to the digital DJ world, he’s now poised to make 2011 a comeback year.
