Louche presents A Sunday Evening with Wolf & Lamb vs Soul Clap DJ-Kicks Tour

  • We're back with another "Sunday Evening With" show after the massive success of our first event with Nico Jaar... There’s evil abroad in the world of dance music and the Wolf + Lamb/Soul Clap Justice League are the last line of defence. This coalition of glitterball superheroes and 4AM villains has come together to fight the dark forces of too dark, too loud dance music. The League’s mission statement: “We want to bring the sexiness back to the dancefloor.” Louche presents our second Sunday evening party of the year tonight, as the Wolf + Lamb vs Soul CLap DJ Kicks World Tour rolls into town with the duos playing all night from start to finish. With legs of the journey already confirmed all across the USA and Canada, as well as in all the major European cities, it's certainly an honour to host these guys, on what is going to be another very special night. The DJ-Kicks mix is a 27-track journey full of emotion and changes of tempo and mood. It ebbs and flows like a moonlit summer tide, from gorgeous downtempo grooves to slinky, deep disco-house. The tour is all about showcasing these sounds, and is perfect,m we feel for a Sunday party. Taking control all night long, from start to finish the awesome-foursome will show us exactly why the Wolf + Lamb collective are so admired and respected within the electronic community. Their sound, a modern amalgamation of funk, disco and R’n’B, coupled with house music is unique, and has set major trends over the years since the label first started releasing in 2005. The two American duos need little introduction. Gadi and Zev of Wolf + Lamb met The Soul Clap chaps Eli and Charles in 2008 at The Marcy Hotel NYC, and pretty much hit it off straight away, the guys instantly welcomed in to the family, which also includes Nico Jaar, No Regular Play and Shaun Reeves. SInce then Soul Clap have been a major part of the Wolf + Lamb collective, releasing some of the labels biggest hits such as 'Consious', or last years killer Jamie Foxx edit 'Extravaganza'. Wolf + Lamb are no strangers to Louche; we showcased the label last September at one of our best ever parties. Gadi's set spanned genres in typical Wolf + Lamb fashion, from disco to hip hop, from house to techno and beyond. Nicolas Jaar also came over recently, the guy responsible for our last Sunday evening soiree, and he too displayed the labels ethos of slower, less conventional music. Two of the hottest DJ and production Duos going, jamming together all night long as part of an exclusive World Tour. What a way to spend a Sunday. TICKETS: Our last "A Sunday Evening With" event sold out so tickets are strongly advisable if you dont wanna miss out x
