With February’s launch of Kaleidoscope still resonant in ravers’ memories, the sound-spectrum-surfer Adam Freeland is back this upcoming 6th May with an almighty bang. Using the party as a platform to explore any and every strain of electronica that takes his fancy, Freeland has welcomed renowned disco don, Todd Terje, to headline the party. Our basement brickwork is sure to be shifting to all manner of cosmic selections as the Kaleidoscope clan take dance floor dwellers on a journey like no other.
Todd Terje is undoubtedly a bastion of the intelligent and eccentric disco movement; with a strong focus on percussion and colourful melodies, both his productions and DJ sets are dance-friendly and nocturnal through to the core. Hailing from Norway and with a diverse list of remixes and edits under his belt including Lindstrom, Paul Simon and KC & the Sunshine Band reworks, Todd Terje is an old school prodigy with brand new tricks. Surprise musical gems from his 10,000 records strong DJ bag will be subjected to The Nest’s monster sound system where sonic nuances never go unmissed.
Adam Freeland will be on board to host the affair bringing more of the house, breaks, techno and bass treasures that have had him touring the world for the past 10 years. Steering clear from mediocrity, Freeland will be presenting a new and experimental sound that he often does not get a chance to explore in other sets. Throwing in brand new productions yet to see the light of day, the Kaleidoscope Friday party is unchallenged in sound, space and mood.
