Scottish techno veteran Tony Scott has been producing music since early 90’s on labels as Soma – he was better known then as Percy X.
In 2007, he has reinventend himself under EDIT SELECT moniker providing an austere and muscular sound. Since then Tony remixed Dubfire, Speedy J or Chris Liebing and his tracks are regularly charted by Marcel Dettmann, Ben Clock, Gary Beck, Sandwell District and numerous others...
His fidelity to a strong aestic putted him on Germany’s leading techno labels Ostgut Ton, CLR and Figure – and soon on the hypest Stroboscopic Artefacts.
Tony Scott also launched his own imprint EDIT SELECT RECORDS. Last year, it attracted a lot of attention by releasing the heavy Mark Broom remix of Gary Beck’s “Consumed”.
Hosted by the Brussels-based crew REWIND, Tony will close the techno stage @ Once Upon A festival on Saturday April 16th.
