Growing like wildfire under the canopy of live electonica and world roots music comes a masterful merge of modern technology, live instrumentation and seductive performance, built of brass bands and glitch, string quartets and dubstep: the musical trio Beats Antique. Since the group’s inception from the eclectic underground of San Francisco’s performance art scene, Beats Antique has been notorious for making it nearly impossible to sit still. They meld their mediums as attentively as they fuse the cultures that inspire their sound. All self produced and composed, the trio creates a unique collage: an animalistic, raw musical event that blurs the lines between the provocative, the spiritual, and the artistic, while still maintaining an allegiance to the muses of class and beauty.

Brendan Angelides is a San Francisco based electronic music producer who records and performs live asEskmo. His multi-genre compositions have been featured on influential labels like Warp Records and Planet Mu (most recently having been signed to the mighty Ninja Tune). While Angelides’ tracks encompass a wide range of electronic styles, he avoids classifications. Bleep.com described his tracks as “Masterfully produced… sophisticated, post-Dilla hip-hop funk“. His last single of 2009 entitled “Let Them Sing” on Mu was met with equal praise and described by sites like Boomkat as “[Putting] Eskmo on his own electronic plateau.”

Justin Paul is an acclaimed DJ, producer and creator of the Playloop music brand. His success is attested to more than his DJ performances and producing; it is for his contribution to the global scene via Playloop and helping to empower The Philadelphia Experiment (PEX) outside and within the Burning Man (aka “Burner”) community. JP’s DJ sets are known for being musically eclectic, spiritual and somewhat unexpected. This is one of the many reasons JP is booked to play at some of the nations most elite clubs, festivals, and shows alongside the likes of Air, Bassnectar, Beats Antique, Deadmau5, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Warren, Orbital, Prodigy, Rusko, Thievery Corporation and Zero 7 to name a few.

Lina Luv’s almost 15-year DJ history in Philadelphia has been blessed with many opportunities to produce her own events and open for infamous local and national talent at some of the most respected music venues in Philadelphia including World Café Live, Fluid, Silk City, and The Arts Garage. Currently, Lina Luv co-hosts “Feet Active”, a monthly party at Studio 34 Yoga in West Philadelphia, where Yoga (with live musicians or DJ’s), homemade vegan cupcakes, and a booty-shakin dance party all come together to fundraise for various local community projects. Lina Luv is also a returning DJ at PEX events and the DJ of Philadelphia’s only feminine fire performance vignette group, Scorch. Her intention in performance is to share the positive musical vibrations that move her heart, soul, and body. Lina Luv is committed to bringing people together through love, music, and dance; her selections traverse genres and cultures and seem to dance between the rhythms of balkan, middle eastern, funk, soul, gypsy, afrobeat, and latin.
