Few parties manage the critical acclaim of Filth in just 4 short years, with the brand known across the UK and Ibiza for curating the sort of breath taking parties few others can muster. This month it will be more of the same, with Emerson Todd and Hector Cuoto headlining.
Spain’s Canary Islands aren’t exactly known for being a hotbed of electronic musicians. Sometimes it seems like Pura Music's label boss Hector Couto is attempting to single-handedly correct that: in just two years he’s turned out more than 150 singles, EPs, and compilation tracks. But even given that staggeringly prolific rate of productivity, Couto hasn’t let quantity trump quality. Full of hooks, his groove-heavy deep house and tech house productions distinguish themselves with a rich, full, finely detailed sound.
Originally from New Zealand, now living in Berlin, Emerson’s unique style of jacking deep & groovy house music has made its way onto Cocoon and Upon You Records to name but a few. Over the many years he has been involved in the scene (largely in Australia) he has been flown all over the world to play places like fabric and WMC, and has also had his works licensed to the likes of Get Physical for their 8th Anniversary compilation last year: Filth are extremely excited to have him.
Of course you can always rely on the residents either side of the man guest too serve uop exactly what the crowd love – a varied selection of wisely picked and contemporary house tunes with plenty of charm, mixed with aplomb.
