Melbourne Deepcast and Revolver Fridays are proud to present IRON CURTIS (DE) on Friday 27th May.
Iron Curtis (Johannes Paluka) intertwines deep House with soulful Techno and intergalactic Disco in an enchanting manner. His sound is reduced, but never minimal. Flashes of kitsch brighten the dark universe of Iron Curtis, but fail to interfere with the fact that he makes and breaks profound music for the dance-floor.
Johannes currently resides in the electronic music stronghold of Berlin and releases on Tensnake’s Mirau label, Mule Electronic, Dirt Crew and Galaktika, among others. In addition to his visit down under, Iron Curtis will also play shows in the UK, US, Italy and Russia in the next few months as he keeps the fire burning throughout 2011.
At his only Melbourne show in Revolver’s infamous back room, Iron Curtis will be supported by Melbourne Deepcast’s Andy Hart and Myles Mac, and Revolver resident Mike Callander.
