Animals Dancing presents My Cousin Roy on the 20th of May at the Mercat Basement.
Listen as Wurst Music Co. bossman, oddball disco aficionado and crate digger extraordinaire My Cousin Roy, AKA Roy Dank descends into Melbourne’s numero uno basement.
Roy is known for his selecting skills, having co-run the now defunct ‘Pop your Funk’ monthly party with Brennan Green in NYC. His Wurst Edits label turned out many esteemed edits, before morphing into the Wurst Music Co, and together they have released edits and originals from Runaway, Lee Douglas, Eamon Harkin, Brennan Green, Neurotic Drum Band, Ulysses and more.
Roy is also one half of Beg to Differ, with the highly regarded Nick Chacona, who have been releasing a steady stream of remix's and a soon to drop EP.
