For our June edition of Superfreq E'special we bring you some big hitters from London & welcome a first UK appearance of someone E'special from America.
Firstly we're extremely proud to announce the very first E'special appearance of Omid 16B. Omid has been a stalwart on the UK dance scene & worldwide since the early 90's, was behind one of the worlds best deep house labels Alola, Disclosure & currently runs his amazing imprint Sexonwax & also Alola which has been relaunched. Omid is one of the most versatile DJ's in the world & has huge followings in the Deep House, Progressive, Tech House & Techno fields & his energy & charm behind the decks is simply amazing. He's recorded with our very own Mr.C on Sexonwax, they recently completed a remix of an Adultnapper track from his forthcoming Album Leyland & they're currently working on some new material together. This is all on top of the many productions Omid is doing & has done for Sexonwax, Bedrock & more. We could talk about this guy forever.
Next we welcome back the DJ's DJ, Eddie Richards. Eddie is one of the originators of the London dance music scene & has been a constant inspiration to DJ's like Mr.C who claims Eddie was his mentor, Nathan Coles & Terry francis which is why he's Wiggle's resident & Superfreq's most booked guest. Eddie Started Baad records way back in 1986, was resident of the Camden Palace, RIP at Clink Street 1988, Dungeons in Lea Bridge Road in 1989 as well as being the musical coordinator of the infamous Sunrise raves, organised Helter Skelter & has since gone to play every party worth it's worth the world over. He's recorded for so many great labels including End Recordings, Absurd, Visitor, Essential Beat & Matter/form as well as his own Lunar Tunes & Dy-Na-Mix imprints.
Lastly we welcome for his debut UK appearance, from Superfreq LA David Scuba. David hails from NYC where he cut his teeth as a DJ & is currently working on a whole host of tracks both on his own & with Mikael Stavöstrand, so expect to hear lots of his own productions in his set & from many a DJ in the Autumn of this year. David has been resident of Superfreq in Los Angeles as well as co-promoter with Mr.C since it's inception 18 months ago after moving West a couple of years back & when you here him play you'll understand why he's the number one LA Freq. His style ranges from the deep & sublime to balls to the wall madness, he's a proper party animal & loves getting involved so it's an absolute pleasure to welcome our Freq brother from across the pond.
These three amazing DJ's will be accompanying Mr.C while Luke vB takes a back seat for the evening.
