In its first incarnation, we’ve set out to create an intimate home for a specific yet eclectic sound that will appeal to an equally specific yet eclectic community. Initially, you’ll find us each and every Thursday from 9PM - 2AM at Bar Pico in Santa Monica, CA… But who knows where we’ll end up as we navigate the depths! There’s plans to let loose quarterly (monthly?) in special spaces for special hours with special guests.
We’ll host local heroes and international talent, alike, booked for their ability to dig deep and share it with the rest of us.
We’ve got lots of thoughts about what we envision Bottom Floor is and isn’t… We’ll be sharing them on our website over the coming weeks and months, but we reserve the right to push and pull as we see fit — you may find us dropping an unexpected cut that just “felt sooo right!!”
And finally, each event is a fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting NextAid.
