6 weeks in the summer featuring some fine label nights as well as our residents to enjoy the music, the people, the venue, the beer garden, the memories.
The series of 6 events features artists such as Radioactive Man (ex-two lone swordsmen), Luke Eargoggle, Peter Grummich, Dadub, Electric Indigo amongst others.

An diesem Abend beenden wir unsere Sommer-Exkursion mit ein paar Residents und zwei Gästen, die wir nun zwar schon öfter zu Gast hatten, die man aber auch nicht zu oft einladen kann: Radioactive Man und Electric indigo.
RADIOACTIVE MAN war Teil von Two Lone Swordsmen, dem legendären Duo, das mehrere Alben von unfassbarer Schönheit auf Warp veröffentlicht hat. Auf diesen präsentierten die beiden einen experimentierfreudigen Sound, der sich völlig frei zwischen Dancefloor und Listening bewegte. Hört man sich die Solo-Produktionen von Radioactive Man an, fällt auf, dass er wohl zum größeren Teil für das einzigartige Sound-Design zuständig gewesen sein muss. Und dass er wohl derjenige war, der mehr auf den Dancefloor abzielte. Seine Solo-Produktionen sind extrem funktional, superfunky und im Sound unfassbar gut. Dass der Gute das auch live drauf hat, hat man beim Krake Festival 2010 gemerkt, wo sein Liveset definitiv DAS Highlight des Festivals war! Für heute freuen wir uns auf ein Electro DJ-Set von ihm.
Über ELECTRIC INDIGO kann man sich auch die Finger fusselig schreiben. Das erspare ich mir hier und poste einfach mal ihre Biografie hier unten rein. Nur eins möchte ich noch schreiben: Sie hat als Überraschungsgast beim Killekill-Geburtstag so gut aufgelegt, das gibt es gar nicht.

Biographie Electric Indigo:
"To call her the most important woman in the Austrian electronic scene would be an insult: Electric Indigo long ago reached a level where conventional gender definitions are obsolete. As a DJ, she enjoys international rank, and as a producer she¹s becoming even more influential." (Sven Gaechter, Editor-in-Chief of Profil magazine and DJ)
Electric Indigo, DJ and musician, has rocked clubs and festivals in 35 countries. Her name stands for an intelligent interpretation of the terms techno, party, and electronic music. Her music oscillates in an update of the imaginary triangle Berlin-Detroit-Chicago and Anton Waldt, DE:BUG Magazine Berlin, describes it as a "combination of human funkiness and a nonstop running 808": syncopated rhythms, distinctive bass lines, and the concise use of melodic elements. She started her DJ career in Vienna in 1989 and lived in Berlin for three years [1993-1996] to work at the legendary Hard Wax record store. In 1998 she created female:pressure, an international database for female DJs, producers, and visual artists in the fields of electronic music and club culture. In 2002 she started to play live - first in collaboration with other musicians to perform improvisational 21st century new music, since 2006 also solo in clubs for the dance floor. 2003 Electric Indigo founded her own record label indigo:inc recordings - a pure vinyl label for DJ-purpose. 2008 Electric Indigo and Irradiation started their joint live project - their first release Phytoplankton came out on TEMP~Records in February 2011. In 2010 Electric Indigo composed the musical themes for the Austrian pavilion at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai together with Alexander Wagendristel and developed a new project together with Burkhard Stangland Annelie Gahl at the composer's forum Mittersill.
2011 she produced the album VLP - Terrain, a project with Pia Palme and Jorge Sánchez-Chiong, released on Idyllic Noise. Currently, she works on the composition "Structuring Contours", premiere atKlangspuren Festival in September 2011, on two follow-up Techno releases for TEMP~Records together with Irradiation that will come out in autumn and winter 2011 as well as on a solo EP forHouztekk Records, planned for September 2011. She presents an indigo:inc radio show on play.fm every first Tuesday a month as well as a monthly live DJ mix for rts.fm.
