This week we welcome former Radio 1 starlet, Space (Ibiza) legend and award winning DJ Lottie.
Inspired by her teenage years at the legendary Haçienda in Manchester, Lottie has gone on to become a major presence on the European club circuit. Winning awards such as Sony Ericsson Musik magazines “Best New DJ” and Dancestars “Best breakthrough DJ” in the last decade she found her first residency at Londons infamous club Turnmills. Inspired by their annual beano to the Miami Winter Music Conference Lottie and friend Caroline Prothero launched ‘missdemeanours’ – in 1998, which started infamously at The Saint Bar and then moved from venue to venue in the UK, including a stint at AKA, where Josh Wink , Daft Punk, Felix Da Housecat and Jacques Le Cont would play alongside her for their legendary word-of-mouth weekly parties.
Initially a place for a Miami reunion and friends to have a drink and a dance, missdemeanours became known for their special little parties with a twist – rammed full of Miami style mixes and atmosphere.
She also became a regular guest host for Pete Tongs “Essential Selection” on Radio 1 and started producing and releasing tracks on her own missdemeanours imprint. Now known best for her edgy, electronic style Lottie enthuses about her love of producing and playing to thousands of people.
