CLR touches down on the magical island of Ibiza this summer for the launch of the labels new series of events “All Together Lost”. The events will feature Chris Liebing joined by some of the biggest names in Techno at Amnesia. On Friday, June 24th Len Faki, Ben Klock, and Mathew Jonson will play alongside Chris for the first “All Together Lost” party on the terrace of the legendary nightclub.
Taking into consideration Chris Liebing´s history on Ibiza, where he hosted successful nights at several of the world-famous clubs, hosting events on the islands most desired floor seems to be an almost logical move. Over a time-span of more than a decade, he and his team have built a strong reputation and a loyal following under the clubbers on Ibiza. In 2011 Chris´s Ibiza experience has come full circle, as he is back at Amnesia, the club where it all started.
Beginning his regular Ibiza appearances in the year 2000, Chris Liebing played for the first four Cocoon residencies at Amnesia and then for Carl Cox at Space. He subsequently co-hosted Mauro Picotto´s “Meganite” at Privilege, where he also celebrated the first season of his own night “Spinclub”in 2006. In the following year he moved to Space, where he continued hosting successful nights over the last four summer seasons, which peaked in the memorable CLR events on the Space terrace throughout June 2010.
CLR label head as well as a founding member of the German Techno scene Chris Liebing is one of the world’s leading Techno artists. His trademark of driving sounds, deep bass and excellent production techniques have secured his spot as one of the masters of the darker strain of electronic music. Due to the good co-operation with various software and hardware makers, his current setup offers him practically endless possibilities.
DJ and Producer Len Faki has created a platform for Techno lovers the world over. After starting 3 labels as well as obtain residencies at the famous Berghain and Ostgut in Berlin, he has now propelled himself forward with the cutting edge sound of his hard hitting Techno.
Playing techno sets full of hypnotic, deep and heavy grooves, Ben Klock has earned an excellent international reputation over the last few years to now becoming one of the most influential players in contemporary Techno. Ben’s memorable creations and arrangements exude a dark sexiness and of course, that irresistible, pulsating beat.
Canada’s Mathew Jonson has become one of the preeminent producers in electronic music today. As a classically trained musician, he has been known for being unrestricted by the boundaries of genres, fusing elements from Techno and House to Jazz. Jonson’s sounds focus on a multitude of outboard equipment, old analogues that give him the distinct hands on usage that have become notorious of his live performances.
So join us in at Amnesia, our new home in Ibiza, where we will get “All Together Lost”.
