- There is a first time for everything. The point we can look back at and say “Remember that?” We all need that moment to record own personal history. That night where an experience was so vivid that it remains ingrained in us for years. That moment is the “Inception” or the beginning. June 10 is the beginning. The beginning of the next level of production for after-hours events in Denver. The beginning in Denver for two international-caliber artists. The beginning of The AAMP Summer Series. Join AfterHours Anonymous and Mahesh Presents (with support from Colorado House Community) on Friday, June 10 for “INCEPTION” – the beginning of something that will change what you expect from late nights in Denver. FRIDAY, JUNE 10 – 10:00pm – 5:30am ARTISTS – As much as we enjoy bringing headliners that Denver has already been introduced to and come to love, it’s important to be able to expose our scene to new stars that you haven’t had the chance to hear yet. With “Inception” we are able to do that twice over. MARCUS WORGULL (Innervisions, Germany) – If you haven’t heard much about Marcus, that’s simply because he is one of Germany’s best-kept secrets. An established producer and DJ, he is a favorite when Innervisions’ founder Dixon or label stars Ame need a remix. Marcus’ previous American gigs have been mostly limited to NYC, California and Florida, but for this one he is flying in directly from Frankfurt to join us for a musical journey. If you like your music with depth and soul, Marcus’ mix of tech-house and house won’t be a set you will forget. Droog has brought artists like Steve Bug, Soul Clap, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and Magda, to name a few. These events have helped grow them as label owners (Culprit) and artists as well. They have tracks on Crosstown Rebels and European tours under their belts. Justin Sloe will be joining us in Denver for the first time, fresh off multiple appearances at DEMF. If you like your techno with funk and flavor, don’t miss this special closing set! JOEY M & BRANDON BASS (DHA, Denver) – Two of the more respected names in Denver’s house music scene, Joey and Brandon are not only responsible for some of the best sets we have heard, but also some of the most epic nights in our underground scene. The DHA parties gave us a place to get loose for years. Now, join us as they get loose for the first time with us. TONY RODELLI (Colorado House Community, Denver) – Tony is becoming a regular at events all over the Denver scene – and his selection as a Beatport “Emerging Artist” supports that. His ability to go everywhere between techno and house makes him a versatile DJ who is exciting to hear play each and every time. If you haven’t heard his skills as a producer, his tracks on Big Wheel, Hub City and Manchester Underground are a good start. It’s hard to imagine being nearly as excited about lighting and production for an event as the music, but with what we have planned for “Inception”, it’s a reality. Expect top-quality sound by P2, but also expect the unexpected as far as everything else. We want this to be something you are still talking about days later. LOCATION – This event will be held at a spacious Denver location with multiple bathrooms, a smoking area and plenty of parking. Location will be announced the week of the event. 21+/REFRESHMENTS – As always, our events are 21+ w/ ID required. Refreshments are included all night with your door price! Please take care of your bartenders! RSVP/PRIVATE EVENT – Our events are private, invite-only events, so you MUST RSVP to [email protected].
