SEBASTIAN KOCH [31337 Records/Germany]
31337 Records is a Berlin and Munich based label run by Stefan Klaas, Philip Steger and Sebastian Koch. The name 31337 otherwise written as ‚eleet‘ (elite) has its origin in the alternative internet alphabet called leetspeak. The label was founded in early 2007 as a platform for international artists to release quality music over the internet and occasionally vinyl.
They always try to support new and upcoming artists, as well as established producers. Their focus lies mainly on minimal techno, dub and experimental electronic music. The label is striving for a fresh, innovative and timeless sound. The result is a perfect mix between floor filling, subtle minimal techno, and deep, slow experimental tracks.
Besides that, the label is working in cooperation with rts.fm, a Russian internet radio. In the Berlin studio, they host many well known producers and Djs to stream live audio and video. In the future they would like to plan their own events and keep feeding you with quality music.
JOHN TEMPLETON [Emote Music/USA]
Emote Music, a Colorado-based record label run by Jacob Todd and John Templeton, strives to promote forward-thinking dance music utilizing resources and talent from across the globe.
Founded in 2006, Emote began by releasing progressive house music. Today, Emote is focused on promoting unique minimal and techno music that works on modern dance floors, back rooms, and mp3 players.
Emote believes that Colorado is at the forefront of a burgeoning techno movement in the United States. By creating an outlet for these artists and producers to collaborate and learn from each other, Emote hopes to share this movement with the rest of the world. The word Emote means "to show emotion" which is the intent of each release.
TIM TOR [Bluecode Records/Netherlands]
I grew up in East-London at some weird warehouse parties near the Shoreditch area. Before that I have spent my life in the techno scene in Brighton and Amsterdam. However, the last two years I mostly going to Berlin. The darkness, but still openness, of this city inspires me a lot.
Currently, I work on two main projects. Firstly, I am involved in a label from Berlin called BlueCode records for which I am doing Artist Management.
