In den letzten Jahren ist das Interesse an House Music aus Russland stetig gestiegen. Eine ganze Reihe hervorragender Events in Moskau und St. Petersburg zeigten das Beste was House Music aus USA, Europa und natürlich Russland zu bieten hat. Dabei gewannen einige russische Produzenten, durch ihre an den Grenzen des Genres agierenden Veröffentlichungen, stetig an Profil und Aufmerksamkeit.
Mit der Hilfe von einigen der feinsten DJs in Berlin präsentiert St. Petersburgs Deep House Reihe Russkiy Detroit am 5. August im Chez Jacki eine House Music Nacht der besonderen Sorte. Headliner ist niemand anderes als der Deep House Produzent der Stunde Vakula , welcher hiermit sein längst überfälliges Berlin Debut geben wird, zusammmen mit Moskau´s Anton Zap. Der russisch - amerikanische DJ/Produzent Alland Byallo u.A. vom Pokerflat Label wird auch mit dabei sein.

The last few years have seen an increased interest in house music coming from Russia. A number of great events in Moscow and St Petersburg have showcased the best house music talent from the U.S, Europe and Russia itself, while several local producers have become prolific in their output of cutting-edge dance music.
St Petersburg's deep house project Russkiy Detroit will be presenting a night of house music at Berlin's Chez Jacki on August 5 with the help of some of Berlin's finest djs. Headlining sets will be turned in by the deep house man of the moment Vakula, who will be making his Berlin debut, and Moscow's Anton Zap. Russian-American producer/dj Alland Byallo of Pokerflat will also feature.
