- - UPDATE: 26/07/11: LOCATION REVEALED We can finally reveal that the tabula rasa opening party will take place at one of London’s oldest and most iconic live music venues, THE ROUNDHOUSE on Sunday 7th August. FFA are providing the Funktion One sound and Mike Lights is on visual duties. There's going to be a few surprises dotted around and a BBQ will take place on the terrace at the beginning of the day... You need to arrive as early as you can and also MUST BE ON THE GUEST LIST. If you haven't already done so please send full names here. You'll then receive the full lowdown and entry procedure as this is an INVITE ONLY EVENT. Our 2 VERY SPECIAL SECRET GUESTS cannot be revealed until the day and only to attendees due to other weekend commitments - they will smash it :) We can also announce that an AFTERPARTY is taking place just down the road that goes through until 5am with additional special guests. The Grade II* listed building is now home to a bold and exciting programme of live music, theatre, dance, circus, installations and new media... _____ #1. the secret round terrace - opening party (INVITE ONLY) Hello, it’s been a while… Since our last encounter, the tabula kin went their separate ways, surviving the winter months by plying their own crafts. We haven’t seen each other since that mad September afternoon in that hidden garden (thank you Maya Jane Coles & Mr Tolfrey for that one!), now the time has come again to collide for another tabula rasa gathering, the first of several special parties scheduled for this year, and its going to be rather mental… The venue, production & sound: We can’t quite believe we’ve been invited to host (and let loose in) one of London’s most iconic and simply stunning venues! An amazing indoor dancing area adjoins a multi level terrace separated by a glass wall. It’s intimate so you do need to arrive very early to ensure entry as space is strictly limited. A BBQ will be in place for the early arrivals. It really is a fabulous place. We’ll announce details nearer the time to all attendees (see below for details)… Our friends at Full Fat Audio are installing the Funktion One system powered by their incredible amps (those at Glastonbury this year would have heard at least 10 stages powered by FFA including Glade and the Funktion One surround sound area), and Mike Lights will conduct another visual fiesta. Plus we some very special surprise guests joining us throughout the day.
