In May 2010 the community and web portal Swedishtechno.com was launched by Emma Karlsson aka Miss Dilemma. A devoted techno DJ the last decade. Even though Sweden have all this talent, the common knowledge was often wrong, and the Swedish ?ag in the music context was not recognized for the skills and merits it had earned. One reason could be that a lot of the Swedes have non-swedish looks and names. At the same time Sweden struggled with a narrow club scene thwarted by the government creating a harsh environment for artists needing experience and work. A community to support both local acts and promoters was needed, and Swedish Techno was born.
Collaboration partner for this event will be Club 2:35:1. A quite small but exclusive techno club, the VIP ?oor of Berns, Stockholm biggest night club and venue. Have during the last 5 years had more big name bookings than any other promoter in Sweden. Collaborates with Cocoon, Ostgut Ton, Get Physical and Composite Rec. on a regular basis.
