Bouncevents presents Pawn @ Bairro Alto's Groove Bar.
Pawn was drawn into the world of musical rhythms from early on and ranges quite broadly in influences, from techno to classical music. He observed closely the growth of underground house and techno parties in Portugal before getting behind the turntables in 2004, djing and founding Logic Soul, an events company with which he organised electronic music parties in the area. He played at a wide variety of venues in Portugal, including famed Maré Alta and Alcântara-Mar.
Production-wise, Pawn has edited for classic Belgian label Bonzai and with his alias Drumkode, for labels in the UK, US and Portugal.
Pawn recently moved to Leeds in the UK where he's closer to other musical influences and where he now pursues a degree in Music Technology. There he found a new home for his ReCycle show, featuring on Washington DC's TM-Radio.org.
