Spectrum with Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Bare Noize and Heavyfeet

  • Much loved London promotion Spectrum trips up north to show Leeds show it’s done when it comes to d&b events on September 17th. The venue is The Warehouse – a rejuvenated space with killer light and sound as well as a smaller second room. Headlining are d&b legends Drumsound & Bassline Smith. True stalwarts of the scene, they also sill invigorate with their productions, including recent underground hit, ‘Close.’ Add this to their forthcoming remix of “What Can You Do For Me” by the Utah Saints and you’ll see why these guys are as big in the game now as they have ever been. Next on, Bare Noize are Daniel Brown and Oliver Pile of labels like EMI, Mau5trap, Ministry of Sound, Dubstep Division, EIGHT:FX. They are a 3 piece dubstep crew who are producing some seriously sick stuff right now. Finally HeavyFeet is a name synonymous with beats, breaks and bass, and not just because that's the name of their weekly FM radio show! From their high profile remixes of Skepta, Roisin Murphy and DJ Zinc, to their recent EP releases on uber-cool New York based label, Plant Music, this Mancunian production duo are busy showing the music industry and artists alike that they're here for the long haul. As well as all that, resident and founder Pete Jordan brings his wise head to proceedings, and so too will a number of as yet unannounced special guests. The Warehouse is the perfect setting for this bass heavy gathering, make sure you’re there to feel it in your chest!
