16th century St Catherine's church is the ancient, awe-inspiring setting for Norwegian duo Deaf Center’s contemplative music performed on piano and cello. Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer appear with pianist Christian Wallumrød to present “Re:ECM,” creating sound structures by drawing on recordings from the seminal German label ECM, thus reworking the past to make something new.
