As a one off special mulletover are coming to Leeds to throw their first party, teaming up with Louche for the night to bring you a very special joint event.
Rob Star & Geddes' party, now in it's eighth year is widely considered the capital's biggest and most influential event. They've booked virtually everyone over the years including the likes of Damian Lazarus, Zip, Cassy and many more. Their parties have played a huge part in shaping London's party scene, setting the trend for events not in clubs, but in diverse underground spaces all over the city. With this ethos in mind we're moving temporarily from our regular home The Mint Club, to an intimate 500 capacity raw warehouse space in Leeds City Centre that we've never used before. We'll be putting our own touches on the space, making sure it meets the high standards you've come to expect from both parties, expect top class production on sound, lighting and visuals of course.
Heading the lineup is a true talent in Chicago native Tevo Howard, who is one of the most in form DJ & producers out there currently. In the game since he was seven and DJ'ing for over 25 years his sound is blissfull analogue warmth, sitting loosely between classic Chicago & Detroit sounds. His release schedule has been relentless over the past twelve months, and every record he has put out has been nothing short of amazing, unquestionably a talent for the house purists out there. Just check his releases on respected labels Rush Hour, Buzzin Fly, Rebirth and his own imprints Tevo Howard Recordings & Beautiful Granville Records. His studio skills are unquestioned, and it seems that being a hot shot producer runs in his blood, probably inheriting some of his skills from his dad Rick 'Poppa' Howard, a respected producer and vocalist in his own right, who regularly records his own downtrodden vocals to appear on some of Tevo's releases. After witnessing Tevo dish out masterclasses at Fabric and Panorama Bar no less, we really can't wait to bring him to Leeds for his debut.
Supporting will be mulletover main man Geddes. Label owner of up and coming Murmur, Geddes has seen his stock rise rapidly over the last few years, with a string of DJ appearances across Europe and beyond. His leadership of London parties mulletover and nofitstate sees him up there with the beacons of the London underground scene, and will remain for years to come.
Louche & mulletover present Tevo Howard; needless to say both parties are super psyched for this one.
Tickets: Capacity is much smaller than our usual events for this party. With only 400 spaces available, mulletover throwing their first Leeds event & Tevo on headline duties we strongly advise you to buy your ticket in advance! This will sell out x
