His last appearance in NY was at Francois K’s Deep Space Mondays at Cielo, which truly epitomizes Brendon’s range of styles and diversity of hypnotic tempos. Originally from South Africa, Brendon landed in NYC nearly two decades ago and has released seven (7) full-lengths, not only under his own name, but also as Beat Pharmacy and Echologist. Most recently, in 2009 he created his own label, Steadfast, under which he released his latest Subterranean LP as Echologist, which “explores a throbbing, swollen underworld of subconscious sounds, conceptually referencing everything from shoe-gaze to ambient to rock.†Brendon Moeller's Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/bCHL1m Tim Chan (CHANSKI) is a local DJ who has hosted events of his own under his self-established Pollinnation emblem and a veteran to the overall NYC underground scene. With a natural penchant towards deep, dark openings, he intertwines these hypnotic and penetrating waves with his own unreleased productions that exhibit a contagious yet very distinct acid flare to them. He did a superb job opening for our first party with Perc and have him back on the decks now to set the crowd up for Brendon.
