Two years of impeccable line up’s, atmospheres that can’t even be put into words and memories that will never be forgotten - it’s safe to say our once emerging event is now a fully fledged success!
Reaching our second birthday, Half Baked are descending on one of our favourite cities to celebrate – Berlin! No strangers to what is one of the most innovative and creative cities that Europe has to offer, we brought Half Baked to the beautiful arch space in Jannowitzbrucke last July with Shaun Reeves, Le Loup and Bill Patrick and to Arena Club in February of this year alongside Lila! Back in Berlin this November to throw down our biggest birthday bash yet - we’re taking over S.K. Robinson with a set of artists who over the last two years have all made their way behind the infamous metal bars to play for us.
Canadian Konrad Black is probably best known for his works on Wagon Repair with his “Draconia” and “Medusa Smile” EP’s sending shivers through the dark and sinister techno world of 2005. Since establishing himself as a highly sought producer, remixer and DJ, Konrad tour’s globally as well as producing his immaculate solo productions and collaborating with the industry’s highest rollers. A character and artist whose undisputed dedication to electronic music of all spectrums have won him a lengthy career, Konrad Black has made a name for himself as the DJ’s DJ; taking us through twisted, complex, heartfelt and intelligent sets. Alongside Konrad is Leonard Perret AKA Le Loup - one of Half Baked’s international residents - has performed countless times for us in London and across Europe. A frontrunner of the innovative crop of Parisian talent sweeping the industry at present, Le Loup’s warm, funk inspired and groove led sets have been turning heads around the globe as well as his productions snapped up by labels such as Wolf + Lamb, Eklo and Life & Death to name a few.
Julietta has played in the world’s finest clubs including Panorama Bar, fabric, Arma17, Cocoliche, Rex and more alongside her continued residency at Munich’s reputable Harry Klein club. Her captivating dj style varies between house and techno, exploring all its facets to new degrees with a mind-blowing mixture of rare, vintage and modern tracks. Never failing to throw down the right record for the moment, Julietta builds sets that hook the listener until the last second.
Joining Konrad, Le Loup and Julietta is Yakine who doesn’t need much of an introduction as luckily for us, he’s another Half Baked resident . Stunning crowds at every performance with his unique touch on deep house, Parisian Yakine, whose label families include Eklo, Cadenza Lab and Circus Company boasts a unique technique behind the decks that has earned him a reputable name for himself.
Last of our guest artists is a young lady who was made resident of Berlin’s Club de Visionaire at the tender age of eighteen! Janina has been an active part of the scene for the last few years, driven by her obsessive love and determination within the electronic music realm. The defining moment of Janina’s career came when techno veteran Sammy Dee gave her the opportunity to release on the highly lauded Perlon label. To this day, Janina’s obsession has not faltered, and she spends her days perfecting her dj’ing technique, immersing herself in musical history and working on her own productions.
Alongside our special guests will as always be the two back bones of Half Baked’s music policy. With us since day one, Robin Ordell and Greg Brockmann have achieved what many dj’s simply couldn’t – blowing the roof of their London residency each and every time for two continuous years Robin and Greg have captivated with their fresh and intelligent sets. Two outstanding talents, no Half Baked would be complete without them.
We can’t wait to see you all and celebrate another year of music at our second birthday!
