Codekontrol London return to Bacau’s ground Zero for a night of excellent music and a top underground line-up.
Following their very first Codekontrol event in Romania which took place on NYE 2011 on the two stages of Zebra Club Bacau, the London crew are back in town for the second part of the adventure! This time they will be launching a new concept of event, one where musical genres are used as building blocks, connected together by the performers to form a whole, a total underground music experience. Created with the intention of connecting international underground artists with local talent, the CONNECT events will have the mission of promoting an eclectic and unique mix of top headliners but also warm-up artists to match.
The headliner of the first CONNECT is a global ambassador of the techno sound from the Black Sea, Ahmet Sendil. He is also the man who, ten months ago, took the New Year’s eve party at Zebra in a reverie of great music and pumping rhythms “Made in Bosphorus Undergroundâ€. Now, after a very busy year with gigs spanning from Romania to Mexico and from natal Istanbul to Sydney, Ahmet returns to Bacau, the place where the 2011 adventure started for him!
Alongside Ahmet Sendil, Codekontrol are bringing to CONNECT one of the tech-house pioneers of sunny Sicily, Renato Pezzella. After a summer filled with gigs around Italy and Ibiza, and freshly back from his very first gig at the legendary Tresor club in Berlin, Renato Pezzella steps for the first time on Romanian land, bringing to Bacau his original vibe of house and techno, dripping with the Latin vitality and heat! Also, for Renato, Zebra Club marks the second stop, after Tresor, in promoting his newly-released album Musik Visions.
From the Romanian artists camp, they have chosen two of the names now deeply imprinted in the DNA of Romania’s new wave of house music, Ali Nasser & Zotist. Both guys part of the Sunrise family, taking this trademark sound more and more abroad. Be it in Ibiza, London, Amsterdam, Bucharest and Bacau, Ali and Zotist know and love their music to evangelistic proportions; fact felt at every gig they are present behind the decks. For Bacau, Ali Nasser and Zotist are also part of the family, present on many of the Zebra events line-ups.
Both have had a hot and busy summer with some very special gigs inside Romania and abroad, for Ali culminating with a gig London and one at Sunwaves 10, and for Zotist with a few significant gigs in Ibiza for Zoo Project and Ibiza Underground.
The last two artists present on the CONNECT line-up, are two guys whom until the NYE event ten months ago had never met before, but who on the night worked together like bread and butter.
Johnny Fiore had played the set just before Ahmet Sendil and Syl the one before him.
People present there on the dancefloor probably remember with great pleasure Johnny’s two hours, who took everyone through minute 00.00 with glasses in the air and big BIG smiles!
Johnny was just waiting for a second chance to return to Zebra, very impressed by the super warm vibe he felt in Bacau on NYE2011. The chance is now!

Unul dintre principalii ambasodori mondiali ai muzicii techno de la Marea Neagra, Ahmet Sendil a fost omul care in noaptea de Revelion 2011 a purtat pe toata lumea prezenta in camera de sus la Zebra intr-o reverie de muzica excelenta si ritmuri marca Bosphorus Underground.
Acum, dupa un an foarte busy cu giguri care l-au purtat din Romania pana in Mexico si din Istanbul pana in Sidney, Australia, Ahmet se intoarce in Bacau, locul de unde a pornit intreaga aventura 2011!
Alaturi de Ahmet, Codekontrol aduc la CONNECT unul dintre pionierii houseului din insorita Sicilie:

Dupa o vara incarcata cu giguri in Italia si Ibiza, si dupa primul sau gig la legendarul Tresor, Berlin Renato va veni pentru prima data pe meleaguri romanesti, aducand in Bacau vibe-ul sau unic de house si techno, plin de vitalitate si caldura latina! 
Totodata, Zebra Club reprezinta si al doilea stop dupa Tresor in promovarea proaspatului sau artist album "Musik Visions" lansat in Septembrie. Watch this space pentru competitia "Musik Visions" cu premii in bilete la eveniment si ltd. edition CDuri cu autograf ale alcumului.

Ali Nasser si Zotist 
sunt doua nume adanc imprimate in ADN-ul noului val de muzica house romanesti, purtand acest sunet din ce in ce mai mult peste hotare. Fie in Ibiza, Londra, Amsterdam, Bucuresti sau Bacau, Ali si Zotist isi cunosc si iubesc muzica pana la evangelism. Fapt simtit la fiecare gig la care sunt prezenti pe deckuri. Pentru publicul Bacauan, Ali si Zotist sunt totodata parte din familie, fiind prezenti pe line-upurile evenimentelor Zebra din inceputuri. 
Amandoi au avut o vara busy cu giguri in si peste hotare, pentru Ali culminand cu un gig in Londra si unul la SW10, iar pentru Zotist cu cateva giguri insemnate in Ibiza pentru Zoo project si Ibiza Underground. Asta fara sa mentionam setul de gratie la petrecerea de Aniversare a 15 ani de Zebra!
CONNECT va fi si ultima ocazie sa-i auziti pe Ali si Zotist pe acelasi line-up inaintea Underground Session 001 din Noiembrie la Sunrise Lounge, Ciric!

Cei prezenti in noaptea de Revelion si-l amintesc probabil cu mare placere pe Johnny ca fiind setul de legatura dintre Syl si Ahmet Sendil. Omul care in cele doua ore avute la dispozitie pe deckuri a urcat lumea pana in punctul 0, punct din care Ahmet Sendil ne-a aruncat pe toti in aer! 
Johnny abia a asteptat o a doua sansa sa se intoarca la Zebra, foarte placut impresionat de vibe-ul si caldura ce a simtit-o in Bacau la FATE NYE. Sansa a venit acum!
