We're back for another month of bringing the best eclectic soundtrack to camden for another summer saturday of sounds good action
Set slap bang in the middle of camden market, and overlooking the famous camden lock, the lockside lounge is one of the best spots in camden, especially in the summertime when the huge outdoor terrace comes into its own!
we'll be utilising this outdoor area as much as possible, with djs playing summer soundtracks outside in the afternoon and a barbeque blazing all day...when the sun goes down we move inside and rock the lockside's large dancefloor til 2am
we've drawn together an eclectic assortment of guest djs to throw down the freestyle beats alongside residents paddy freeform (universal vibes) and paul aaaron (warrior fm/keep the faith), this month we have a veritable dj mash up, featuring a host of Londons unsung dj talent, specially selected to rock the dancefloor
Special guests are Faze action...Faze Action is the story of two brothers. One a DJ and record collector and one a classically trained musician. It is also a story of chance and finding out that the people that you need have been standing next to you all along, it's just that you hadn't seen it before. It is a story that also incorporates escapism, spirituality and the search for the perfect party atmosphere. It's a story that unfolds over every continent on this fair planet (well almost), and maybe off this planet as well. It's the story of the search to give people what they deserve; the best time of their lives!!!!
also stepping up this month, we have Jerome Derradji, founder of the excellent Still Music label from Chicago. Jerome is in London on a whistel stop tour and we've managed to bag him for a set at the Lockside....Also supporting we have simbad, currently on fire with a string of highly regarded releases/remixes and an an album imminent on Raw Fusion...
No Sounds Good would be complete without the afternoon into evening live performance to warm up the dancefloor and this months instigators are Ok_Ma, another up and coming production crew who have been creating a storm with recent releases on R2 and Still Music
