Synth/Bass/Beats
After a great first session we return to Rik Tik for our second party, with a line up so special we can't even believe it's still free entry. Headlining will be Big Dada's Offshore, whose crunk laden services we employed for our second 12''. Then steps in Brainfeeder's Lapalux, a man whose music is so special we've fawned over it in our radio shows, mixes, on our blog and any other way possible. Support comes from Moscow, GMT and two of our residents Ghost Mutt and Grinel.

Ewan Robertson, aka Offshore, is a London based Scot who has been releasing crunked-up, synth-laden heaters laced with influences from grime, hip hop and house since 2009. Firstly on Glasgow's now defunct Stuff Records before moving onto the Ninja Tune sister label Big Dada (who he will drop an album with next year) Ewan also appeared on our second EP remixing Niño's track 'Buio Omega'. Labeled by Red Bull as ' the UK's answer to Diplo', I personally witnessed him deliver one of the highlight sets of this years Sonar Festival in front of 5000 people. Making his first headline appearance in Brighton is something not worth missing.

Recently signed to Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label, Lapalux first came to our attention with the Forest EP a year ago, a release so full of invention and charm that we have been glued to his Soundcloud ever since. As further tracks emerged, followed by a release on London's Pictures Music, it was clear that Lapalux's music was something special - tracks with intricate percussion, vocal manipulation and deep basslines which have such a unique quality it's almost impossible to describe them. His release on Brainfeeder is set for early next year so grab this opportunity to see him live in this setting whilst you can - Lapalux is destined to be massive.

If you know us you know our resident Ghost Mutt, whose ruddy awesome tracks (as featured on our debut release alongside Slugabed) are whipping up a storm in the beats stratosphere. Expect sparkling synth arpeggios, chunky rhythms, chopped up divas and dirty bass.
