STATTBAD is presently planning an internal Multimedia Lab: STATTMEDIA. It will be the melting pot of diverse disciplines between live acts, cutting-edge styling in music and advanced media.
The combination of music, interactivity, generative art and new technology opens a wide new field in user's live experience. Art does no longer have one single static state, it becomes something more organic like a living system.
In the '90s new media, virtual art, internet and web sites have dominated the scene.
Rock stars were definitely not frontman's band, cinema icons, film and models anymore, but the physicality of internet, rendered through the manipulation of digital technology. Cyberspace came out of itself and the virtual became real.
