Over 12 years since the last performance in the US, we welcome back for a rare 5-HOUR extended set veteran and maestro INIGO KENNEDY. Also on the bill will be DONOR, returning back since Erratic's launch party in August 2011, now to play a solo 2-HOUR LIVE set. Opening the night will be Erratic residents Jason T. and Nico (aka LoKKoTRONN), and this event will take place at the -revamped- National Underground, boasting an astounding sound. INIGO is a true, highly skilled and dedicated veteran DJ and producer whose sound most briefly could be described as introspective emotive techno that delves between the elusive, fast-paced tempos reminiscent of the ‘90s and morphs among the cerebral, self-reflecting riffs of modern electronica. Dating back to the years when analog was king, his projects and contributions are far-reaching and all-encompassing. With a discography lauding 100 releases, INIGO’s paramount project as an electronic musician since 1999 is the establishing and maintaining of Asymmetric, his own record label. Later in 2003, in an attempt to stay honest to his efforts and vision without succumbing to commercialization pressures, the imprint turned into a free-of-charge net-label, sharing and spreading his untainted sound to all corners of the globe. More recently in 2007, INIGO became part of the new Belgian small family and label, Token, serving as a platform for intelligent techno that gives birth to “a token of power: a true, solid, uncompromising sound” with each release. During this 5-HOUR set be prepared to embark on an ethereal journey to the undiscovered places of your mind and beyond. Greg Schappert, DONOR, a native of Brooklyn and cosmopolitan of Barcelona and Tokyo, epitomizes in his Live PA the current sound of techno that is so appealing, insatiable, and invigorating –that which is represented, mostly basically, by the dark and driving, the hard yet minimal. DONOR is primarily involved with his own project and net-label, Miniscule, housing to date a catalogue of 18 outstanding releases; and has also been part of other imprints such as Synewave, Perc Trax, and most recently Stroboscopic Artefacts for the Monad Series. We were lucky enough to have him play alongside TRUSS during Erratic’s inauguration last summer and were so pleased by his LIVE set that we thought his sound would be the perfect complement to INIGO's on such a memorable night.
