- Cubism returns to The Source on Saturday 3rd December for our final residency party of 2011 and the first festive bash of the season in Maidstone. It’s been a fantastic year for Cubism Records with every release on the label being supported by many of today’s Global tastemakers. As well as this and a rocking hometown residency, the label has also spread it’s wings this year touring label partner Saytek’s album to clubs up and down the UK and regular parties at Cargo, London. There’s a lot more of the same and some big surprises lined up as we move into next year! Typically guests at the Cubism parties consist of artists who inspire both the Cubism resident DJs and the direction of the label itself with most of them also releasing music on the imprint. The guests for this party fit into this philosophy perfectly as we lock horns with the excellent ALiVE Recordings welcoming special guests Tom Budden and Ryan Thompson, both of whom will be releasing much anticipated material on the label this winter. Playing alongside them in the main room are Cubism residents Mark Gwinnett and Paul Johnson with the legend that is Rob Cockerton. Also Deanoloco will be launching Loco in the courtyard welcoming only the very best of the local talent to join him in doing what he does best out there! For this first party Dean Langan and Ritchie Prior will be stepping up with the loco beats! Remember entry is FREE before 11pm. See you there x
