To celebrate the release of their debut LP 'Keep Your Dreams' (out now on Modular Records), Canyons will be premiering their six-piece live band for the first time EVER at the Civic Hotel Underground, Sydney on Thursday December 15 – (with DJ support from Steele Bonus), before performing selected dates around the country in WA, NSW and VIC.
‘Keep Your Dreams’ aligns a fine balance between the electronic and the organic. From the radio-friendly ‘My Rescue’, to the vintage acid house jackin’ ‘See Blind Through’ and the voodoo sax charms of ‘Blue Snakes’… the dream is as dense and abstract, as it is light and psychedelic. Rich in sounds from the animal kingdom and filled with good ol’ fashioned proper songs such as ‘And we Dance’ and ‘When I See You Again’ or the cocktail cool of 'Tonight’; Canyons’ debut album has been well worth the wait.
Before they hit the festival stage at Peats Ridge, Golden Plains Sixxx and Playground Weekender, or support Justice in front of 5,000 ravers at Melbourne’s Festival Hall… say you were there and come and witness the Canyons experience for the first time ever in this intimate space – which boasts one of the finest sound system’s in the Southern Hemisphere.
