Leftfield’s impact on dance music can only be described as seismic, with material from their genre defining albums Leftismand Rhythm and Stealth they are one of dance music’s premier live acts. Leftfield’s first show of the year with a line-up offriends and special guests will provide a spectacular show for fans and much needed funds for War Child. Jess Mills will be aguest vocalist on Leftfield’s ‘Original’ track with others to be announced in the New Year.

WAR CHILD - Children don’t start wars. But their homes, schools, families and communities are torn apart by war. These arethe very things kids rely on for protection and the chance to build a life free from poverty. Currently working in Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Iraq and Uganda, War Child is a small international charity thatprotects children from the brutal effects of war and its consequences.
War Child has an established, proud and unique relationship with the biggest and best names in music and entertainment, with a reputation for quality and innovation dating back to the legendary ‘Help!’ album in 1995. War Child organise projectsthat exist as special events and once-in-a-lifetime moments and works with acts to deliver creative ideas that would otherwisenever have been able to happen.
RED BULL STUDIOS LONDON - Deep in the heart of south east London lies The Red Bull Studios: a non-commercial
recording studio and programmable space based in Red Bull’s UK headquarters.
As a legacy of the Red Bull Music Academy, this unique space is fast becoming one of the most exciting additions to London’s music scene, offering myriad artists the chance to come in and explore their creativity without racking up huge studio fees. The studio so far has nurtured homegrown talent, welcomed legendary musicians alongside unsigned artists and enabled musical creativity that may otherwise have gone unrealised. Anyone with a good idea and the talent to make it happen could realise their musical ambitions in this state-of-the-art recording studio.
Artists big and small have crossed the studio's threshold: Jessie J and Katy B both used the high spec space to perform, Roots Manuva has worked on tracks for his next album and Toddla T brought fresh talent to the studio as partof the ‘Mixtape’ Project. Collaborations, mash-ups, and the ability to let an artist’s creativity run wild are the intention ofthis forward-thinking facility. Previously, reggae roots legend Scientist used the Studio to its full effect to give dubstep allstars Mala, Pinch and Sgt. Pokes a lesson in Dub. ‘The Producers’ two series, created in conjunction with VICE, saw thelikes of Diplo working with hero Lee Scratch Perry and Mike Skinner working with on The D.O.T, bringing a mix of artiststogether to spectacular effect.
The Red Bull Studio not only helps artists to produce new music, it also broadcasts new sounds to a global audience of music lovers, making it easy to access up and coming artists as well as renowned performers. Weekly live radio show Pick N Mix, presented by muso Emma Warren and broadcast on NME Radio, brings listeners an insightful look at the newest music aswell as interviews with the most exciting established and breaking artists. Slow Club performed their latest album in theStudio's exhibition space—which was streamed live online—and a diverse range of artists have taken full advantage of thestudio's online portal www.redbullstudios.com.
