- We're very grateful to welcome Shackleton back to Manchester after his blinding Secret Wars appearance earlier this year. He was so happy with the gig and the crowd that he asked to play again for us this Winter which is a massive compliment to everyone who was involved in March. Again this is a an extremely rare performance for someone as popular and respected as Shackleton especially at New Years - indeed the next time you're likely to see him again is in Croatia with a few thousand other people let alone nice and cozy with 149 others bringing in 2012(and the end of time itself). In support is a snapshot of Manchester's underground: 2011 has been something of a windfall of Manchester talent and has seen many nights hit their stride with confidence: You've been spoiled week in week out with inspired bookings and increasingly talented and individual residents. This is by no means a complete picture but for New Years we've asked Project 13, Faktion, Assmatics, PYC Sessions and Subtitled to lend us a few of their djs and mixed them in up in b2bs to create a proper blend of what's currently going on..
