Following on from our debut in to the world of day time partying on New Year’s Day, we are ready to head back to the depths of the Mercat Basement, and who better to take us there than king of the ‘space-disco’ sound and extended set master Prins Thomas.
One of the leaders of the constant wave of talent coming out of Norway, Prins set up his label Full Pupp in 2005 to harness this unique sound, and has been releasing some of the best ‘house-not-house, neo-disco or call-what you want dance music records’ ever since.Not content with solely focusing on Norway, Prins Thomas also started the Internasjonal record label, and with well over 50 releases combined Prins has been a huge influence in pushing weird and wonderful dance music to the public.
Production wise, Prins Thomas is one of the most in-demand remixers and has added his signature Tom Moulton style extended mixes to all kinds of producers and bands. He has also frequently collaborated with fellow Norweigen Lindstrom, and released his debut solo album in 2010.
In Animals Dancing tradition Prins Thomas will be given control of the console until the club closes, and with Prins famous for his extended sets, we are excited to have him!
