The first instalment of Foreign Muck kicks off the 2004 proceedings this Friday (6th of February) with the UK debut of Berlin's M.A.N.D.Y. This rather credible and talked about night at The Key in London has a fantastic policy of booking emerging and quality talent from the European foreshores that might not otherwise get the chance to come spin for a forward thinking electronic music crowd.
Patrick Bodmer and Philipp Jung (M.A.N.D.Y.) are also the funk fuelled electronic brains behind the Get Physical label, producers in their own right and remixers which has seen their mits re-rub acts like Silicone Soul, Daniel Bedingfield, Sugababes, Hakan Lidbo, Royksopp and Joakim. The word out of clubland in Germany, Austria and France is that M.A.N.D.Y's DJ sets are up there and rub shoulders with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Tok Tok, Akufen and Tiefscharwz. You really can't afford to miss this one.
