Cesare vs Disorder presented By Subsonic & Techno Tuesday

  • SUBSONIC & TECHNO TUESDAY present Cesare vs Disorder Subsonic returns for its first party of the new year on Saturday 21 January, a joint venture with techno tuesday at one of our favorite venues GoodGod Small Club headlined by Italy's Cesare Marchese (CESARE VS DISORDER), the force behind the Mean and Serialism labels, and SS Music Festival favourite ANNA LEEVIA (Brazil/Berlin) CESARE VS DISORDER: Cesare vs Disorder is a resident DJ at renowned Berlin club KATER HOLZIG (formerly BAR25), and returns Down Under for the first time since his performance at the inaugural Subsonic Music Festival back in that acid-washed summer of '09. Since that tour, Cesare's club credentials have continued to grow markedly as he has released on labels like VAKANT and had his tracks featured on SVEN VATH's 'Sound of the Tenth Season' Cocoon mix, KONRAD BLACK's Watergate compilation (under his moniker QUEEN ATOM) and, most recently, DAMIAN LAZARUS’ acclaimed 'Get Lost Vol.4' on CROSSTOWN REBELS. We could effuse further about Cesare vs Disorder's recent highlights: his performances at Sonar in Barcelona and the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, his collaborations with Jeremy Caulfield and Mikael Stavostrand along with his output under different monikers – Queen Atom/CEZ/Sire Cactus – and his forthcoming EP with Inxec, Konrad Black & Cesar Merveille, which will precede Cesare’s debut artist album that is set for release mid-year, but that would be gilding the lily. As Resident Advisor lauded, "for sheer hedonistic exuberance and the type of body-pummeling rhythms that will have you dancing like a loon, look no further than Cesare Marchese" ANNA LEEVIA: ...is a brazilian girl who loves the audiovisual universe and knows a good mix is worth a lot more then a thousand words. So, before reading all this, LISTEN: http//www.soundcloud.com/annlee Her interest in electronic music came when she heard the germans of Atari Teenage Riot playing in the metal radio she used to hear. Graduated in radio&TV, Anna is against labeling her sound. Influenced by various artists like Guido Schneider, Masomenos, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Trent Reznor, Sascha Braemer, Addictive TV and Prodigy, she builds her own way through the music, giving the audience a trippy experience. In Brasil, Anna has presented herself side by side with many reputed artists and famous clubs and events, like 303, Dama de Ferro and Deputamadre. Her first european tour took her thru the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and England. In the summer of 2010 Anna was touring Europe again, and had the chance to play in her favourite clubs in Berlin: Club de Visionäre and Bar25. Anna nowadays lives between Berlin and Sao Paulo, produces a travelling TV show, prepares her audiovisual project and studies music production. Her 2011 tour will take her to Germany, Belgium, Italy, United States, Brasil, Australia and more. www.annaleevia.com ...so without further ado, Subsonic and techno tuesday invite you for some "body-pummeling rhythms that will have you dancing" and experience the hedonistic exuberance of Cesare vs Disorder and the advanced beats of possibly the best female DJ to hit our shores, first hand in the intimate confines of GoodGod Small Club. Caution: May expand your mind!!!
