Stacey Pullen is an innovator from the second wave of Detroit techno, he grew up under the mentorship of Detroit's legendary three: Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson. Since the early 90’s he has been playing high profile sets at clubs around the world, this guy's touring schedule is unparalleled!
2012 sees Stacey still on the road, DJing and bringing his signature eclecticism to some lucky part of the planet. He plays regularly at the world’s top clubs and festivals, regularly tearing up dance floors at the likes of Panorama Bar, Blkmarket, Space, Fabric, as well as playing at Cadenza showcases and to huge crowds at festivals such as Sonar and BPM.
The lure of technological innovation has also brought Stacey back to the studio, making his own tracks and producing other artists (including Mirko Loko with whom Stacey released the landmark Deux Elements on Cadenza Records).
Pounding, rhythmic and a little dirty – Stacey’s style fits perfectly within the FunkyZeit ethos. Having experienced his sets at countless clubs and festivals we can guarantee you that this will be a night to remember.
We continue our residency at our beloved Crucifix Lane, as ever we will be armed with the most tuned of Funktion 1 soundsystems.
Tickets are available on RA. There will be a limited number of tickets on the door but, as we tend to sell out fast, we advise anyone without tickets to get down early.
2011 was an amazing year for us and we plan to continue in 2012 where we left off. We have confirmed most of our guests for the first half of the year and we can tell you now that we’re more than a little but excited – this will be BIG.
