How nice it is to be surrounded by family. We meet up on Saturday night, people we know, who’ve seen us grow, who saw our first steps on the dance floor, and for who frictions set aside we still have an indestructible regard. We greet the elders, meet up with long lost cousins and tease the new borns…
Only this time the cousins from Cologne decided to drop in. We hadn’t seen Michael Mayer and Reinhard for ages.
And on the side: Lessizmore, daddy Pierre and mommy Jess invited our little cousins the Private Gold clan themselves, under the guidance of uncle Jin. Finally we’ll be able to recount our anecdotes while gently hip swaying to the their latest releases, all being served live. Hoping to still find some time to drop in on little Issa… they grow up so quickly at their age don’t they?
Back at Fuse after a long absence, the Kompakt label forerunner of minimal techno ‘made in Cologne’ presents itself via two of it’s most distinguished representatives: Michael Mayer and his ever emotion laden sets, and Reinhard Voigt forever gratifying his audience with an energetic live.
From their side, the Lessizmore family will be playing it’s trump card at the occasion of the release of their 2nd sampler compilation, including tracks from Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts and Dewalta. The latter one opening the dance before a plethora of top notch artists will bring their lives: Deadbeat and William Kouam Djoko (Lessizmore team) and Walker Barnard and Jin Choi (Private Gold Team).
All this under the watchful chaperonage of close family: Pierre, Deg and the little Issa.
