February 24th marks the end of an era for JUST, as they and 93 Feet East throw a blinding free party for the last time. They say all good things come in tens (probably) and we have had a ten show hot-streak taking in names as stellar as TEKI LATEX, STRIP STEVE, SOUND OF STEREO and countless more. But all good things must come to an end, and JUST has made the decision to move to pastures new (after a good couple of months of rest and recuperation).
So for our final soiree together, we decided to rope in a chap that we've been meaning to book but have never got round to and our favourite Room 2 hosts (and coincidentally: our first).
Family friend PETE CARVELL is a staple on the London electronic music scene - and with good reason. His GASH DJS moniker has basically done everything and anything a DJ duo would want to do, and he has been responsible for releasing some super cool upcoming artists down the years. More to the point: he's northern. Us northerners have to stick together. URCHINS will be bringing down the curtain on our 93 Feet East days with a bang: celebrating everything that's been huge in the past 10 months, and everything that no doubt will in the next 10!
Talking of 10's (a lot) - our Room 2 hosts are none other than blog extraordinaires BREAKS OF 10! These guys are at the forefront of music, style, chatting bullshit and much more so we are delighted to have them back for what promises to be an emotional farewell.
