Washington, DC FORWARD Festival, a 5 day celebration of electronic creative culture (music and art), will occur from April 25th through April 29th. There will be three pricing tiers for festival passess. Currently the second tier pass for $90 can be purchased at: www.forwarddc.com. The festival is also happy to provide an environmental ticket as well, which will allow festival goers to help with our efforts to make the world a better place. Last year the festival planted 5000 trees in Haiti via Carbonfund this year we plan on supporting Red Wiggler Community Farm in Rockville.
Over the coming weeks, FORWARD Festival will release details on performances, workshop/panel discussion schedules and art installations.

Entering its 5th year, 88 continues a history of expanding FORWARD Festival’s scope and opportunities for people interested in electronic creative culture. Each year, FORWARD is curated around a specific theme. The theme for this year’s festival is organic. As we enter 2012, we feel that it is important - now more than ever - to get back to our roots, live healthy and embrace that which is raw and pure. Artistically, organic will be represented in all visual aspects of the festival, with a particular focus on the 5 Chinese elements of the natural world: Fire, water, earth, wood and metal. Musically, the festival will focus more on back-to-back DJ nights, artists that we feel have an organic sound and installations that reflect the theme.
