SPOTLIGHT will take you for a ride on the wild side playing a special part in London's House and Techno scene.
We are going to feature some of today's most cutting edge, underground musical selections presenting a combined sound that aims to drive deep into the heart of futuristic, melodic House and Techno music.
Now after a very successful January event we figured to keep up the spirit, push the music further, bring some Deep House vibes with a twist and get the legendary disco inspired tunes played by no other than POUSSEZ. Being known as renowned artists in their own right with mutual biographies stretching way back to the early 90's, POUSSEZ and their promising Artizan Music label was formed back in 2004.
Since then, Jafar & Maxime Cescau's tender-tough blend of 21st Century deep house, warm Techno, nu-disco and heady, late night electronics, have appeared on many reputable imprints such as Neurotraxx, Toolroom, Berwick Street and of course Artizan Music. They've remixed Rithma, Erafaan Pearce, Pete Dafeet, Timo Garcia and Blacksoul, collaborated with Demarkus Lewis, Rich Medina and Matthew Bandy, been remixed by the esteemed Atjazz, Roberto Rodriquez, Nacho Marco and still find time for their label, podcasts, 'Uptownboogiedown' parties (including larger scale collaborations with club giants like Fabric London, Mulletover and Lovebox) and regularly tour their Dj / Live sets around the globe.
To round up the night we have a special B2B SET by PHILIPP ORT, owner of Black&White Orange Records and Pins and Needles and SCOTT D'SOUZA one half of the of the amazing Collider production duo as well as running his own Intercity nights across London!
