Our next instalment is something of a celebration - 2 years of FunkyZeit!
We wanted to put together something a little special for this momentous occasion so we called on an old FunkyZeit favourite, someone who destroyed one of our earlier warehouse parties, and a DJ we have huge respect for: Panorama Bar resident and Cocoon favourite, Andre Galluzzi.
Andre has been around for a long time, he started DJing in the early nineties, by 96 he was resident at the famous Tresor club in Berlin and was fast-becoming one of the cities most beloved techno DJs. Since then he has gone on to become resident at the world famous Panorama Bar, a club in which he is famous for intoxicating 10 hour sets and back-to-backs with DJs such as Ricardo Villalobos. He is also a Cocoon resident, playing regularly at their events in Ibiza and around the world.
Joining Andre is another heavyweight DJ/producer who has released on labels such as Helo?Repeat and Desolat: Patrick Specke. Patrick is a regular at Berlin hotspots such as Club der Visionaere, Panorama Bar, and Tape, he's also an incredibly well-respected producer and tracks like Bitchual Linestepper and Naggin' Me (both released on Desolat) feature regularly in our sets. He doesn't play in London often so you can expect something truly special.
To mark the occasion we're pulling out all the stops: 2 incredible guest DJs AND an extra late license, so be prepared people, this time we're in it for the long haul!
